Is commercetools right for us?
commercetools suits teams with complex commerce requirements that monolithic platforms cannot handle well: complex pricing models, B2B workflows, multi-region deployments, or the need to replace one commerce component without affecting others.
How much does commercetools cost?
commercetools pricing is usage-based. For a mid-market B2C store it is typically EUR 3,000-8,000/month. Enterprise contracts are negotiated separately.
How long does a commercetools implementation take?
A standard B2C implementation takes 16-24 weeks. A B2B implementation with approval workflows and ERP integration takes 24-36 weeks.
Can we self-host commercetools?
No - commercetools is SaaS only. You host your frontend and any custom middleware; commercetools hosts the commerce engine.
